Not a job title — say who you are and who you are for.

Senior Backend Engineer @ Fintech | I move payment systems into the millisecond range | Go · Kafka · Postgres
ABOUT
For ten years I have been a backend engineer at technology companies. The last four of them in fintech — payments, card transaction pipelines, KYC flows.
Most recently, at Company X, I moved the payment pipeline to Go and cut p99 latency from 820ms to 140ms. I led a team of 6 on the technical side, and 3 of them were promoted to senior.
What I am open to right now: senior engineer / tech lead roles in B2B fintech. My DMs are open — linkedin.com/in/example-profile.
Illustrative example — the person, the company and the numbers are made up.
Rules
Write in the first person, speak naturally. No “results-oriented professional”.
Keywords inside natural language — keyword stuffing weakens the signal.
Slide 43 — the example About text from the live session; the persona and the figures are illustrative.
“Being on LinkedIn ≠ being searched for. Keyword, headline, about — all three in the same language.
This is what the query on the other side looks like. Write the profile that answers it.
